At That Time We Were Trying To Lobby The State Treasurers Office, Secretary of State and The Attorney Generals Office To Authorise The First Black Owned Bank To Come To Connecticut "Boston Bank of Commerce". They Promised To Help Black People Create Black Owned Businesses In Connecticut, It Never Happened.
Note: Only! Two(2) Black Organizations In Connecticut Signed The Petition: N.A.A.C.P. and African League: Roger Vann-President of The N.A.A.C.P. of New Haven and Willie Williams Jr-Founder of African League New Haven.
